He also worked with other athletes, including NBA players Jason Richardson, Charlie Bell and Zach Randolph. In the summer of 1999, Gee interned for the Chicago Cubs Class A affi liate, Lansing Lug nuts, assisting major leaguer Carlos Zambrano. Gee, pronounced like the letter ‘G,’ is an avid music listener, enjoys working out, bird-watching and was on the 2014 Gatorade advisory board along with fellow NFL strength coaches, athletic trainers and nutritionists. His cousin, Super Bowl XXXVI champion Karl Williams, who played in the NFL for nine seasons (1996-2004), is the all-time leader in punt return yards for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2,279). Born on June 15, 1976, in Detroit, Mich., Gee attended Wayne Memorial High School in Wayne, Mich., where he played basketball, ran track and was a part of the school choir. JOHN GLENN DEFENSIVE ASSISTANT SEAHAWKS EXPERIENCE: 5TH YEAR NFL EXPERIENCE: 5TH YEAR Hired on February 14, 2012 to be the team’s special teams coaching assistant, Glenn moved to a new role in 2014 as its quality control/defense coach and to defensive assistant in 2016. Glenn’s primary responsibilities include video study of opponents, self-scouting, playbook production and assisting defensive coordinator Kris Richard. He entered the league after spending two seasons (2010- 11) as the University of Washington’s quality control coach. Glenn was a three-year letterwinner at linebacker and a starter on East Stroudsburg University’s 2004 and 2005 NCAA playoff teams. He was also a two-year letterwinner in basketball in 2001-02 and 2002-03. Born on July 20, 1981 in Scranton, Pa., Glenn and his wife, Leigh, have two sons, Nate and Luke.. WILL HARRIGER ASSISTANT QUARTERBACKS SEAHAWKS EXPERIENCE: 3RD YEAR NFL EXPERIENCE: 3RD YEAR Will Harriger joined the Seahawks coaching staff as an offensive assistant on May 2, 2014 after spending 10 years coaching collegiately, and this season moves on to assistant quarterbacks responsibilities. He will focus primarily on working with offensive coaches, Darrell Bevell, Tom Cable and Carl Smith, whose offense ranked fourth in the NFL last season (387.6 ypg). Harriger, whose career began in 2004 at Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, has spent the majority of his time on the defensive side of the ball, focusing on the linebacker position. He has also coached at Tennessee-Martin (2006), Auburn (2007), Texas (2008), Ten nessee-Martin (2009), Texas Tech (2010-11) and most recently at Florida (2012-13). Born on June 20, 1982, Harriger earned his degree in communications from Auburn in 2004 and has one daughter, Daisy. TRAVIS JONES DEFENSIVE LINE SEAHAWKS EXPERIENCE: 4TH YEAR NFL EXPERIENCE: 12TH YEAR Named to his current position on February 13, 2013, Jones joined then-defensive coordinator Dan Quinn’s staff after spending fi ve seasons as assistant defensive line coach for the New Orleans Saints.
